Partnership between SCOKA and University of Nairobi, Department of Chemistry
The Scientists of Kenya Association (SCOKA) has formed a strategic partnership with the University of Nairobi's Department of Chemistry, spearheaded by SCOKA founder Everlyn Kimanthi, along with Prof. David Kariuki and Dr. Racheal Njogu. This collaboration aims to advance scientific research and education in Kenya by boosting research capabilities and promoting knowledge exchange.

A key aspect of this partnership involves initiating joint research projects in vital areas like environmental chemistry, sustainable energy, and public health, with the goal of providing practical solutions to local issues.

The alliance will also include educational programs, such as workshops and seminars, to build the capacity of students and young scientists. Furthermore, a strong emphasis will be placed on community engagement to bridge the gap between scientific research and the public, ensuring that advancements benefit the wider community. This combined effort in research, education, and community involvement is designed to make a significant impact on the scientific landscape of Kenya and beyond.
