The Scientists of Kenya Association (SCOKA) was proud to participate in the Pan Africa Chemistry Network (PACN) Congress 2024, held from October 29 to 31 at the University of Nairobi. This significant event celebrated PACN's 16th anniversary and provided a vital platform for researchers, chemists, professors, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and foster collaboration.

Centered on the theme of "Sustainability," in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the congress featured engaging discussions on critical sub-themes, including Environment, Energy, Food and Agriculture, and Water.

Our members actively contributed to these discussions, emphasizing the importance of developing local solutions for global challenges and showcasing their innovative work. This participation also enabled SCOKA to strengthen relationships with other organizations and institutions, laying the groundwork for future collaborations. The congress was a resounding success, offering invaluable opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange.
