Who We Are
SCOKA is a science-driven association that connects science and diplomacy to tackle national and global challenges.
Founded in 2023 by Miss Everlyn Kimathi and like-minded visionaries, the Scientists of Kenya Association (SCOKA) is a non-profit platform that unites diverse scientific disciplines to champion science as a vital force in community development. SCOKA fosters collaboration across scientific and diplomatic communities, promotes dialogue where relationships are strained, and advocates for the rights and needs of scientists while offering intellectual support and training to address key issues in the scientific world.
Everlyn Kimathi, Founder
Everlyn Kimanthi, a passionate young scientist with a background in Biological Sciences, founded the Scientists of Kenya Association (SCOKA) in 2023 to address challenges faced by aspiring scientists. Through her visionary leadership, SCOKA has become a vital platform uniting scientists across disciplines, promoting collaboration, mentorship, and advocacy, and significantly shaping Kenya’s scientific landscape and beyond.
