For years, SCOKA has been recognized as a strong champion for young scientists and early-career researchers in Kenya.
The Youth in STRI initiative focuses on empowering young people through mentorship, capacity development, scientific engagements, networking opportunities, leadership development, policy conversations, and inclusion in national and international scientific dialogues.
Through conferences, side events, policy forums, scientific discussions, workshops, and innovation engagements, SCOKA ensures that youth voices remain at the center of conversations shaping the future of science, research, technology, and innovation in Kenya.
The initiative also supports young scientists by connecting them with opportunities for growth, collaboration, visibility, research exposure, and professional advancement while strengthening their role in driving sustainable development and scientific transformation.
